Philippine Navy NRC Distributes Church Donations

Partnering with the Philippine Navy Naval Reserve Command (NRC), over 39,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) gowns and 40,000 face masks donated by Latter-day Saint Charities (LDSC) are currently being distributed to over 60 strategic partners and beneficiaries across the Philippines. 

“We are ever grateful to Latter-day Saint Charities for these much-needed donations!,” said Brigadier General Rodylyn “Cherrisse” Manzano, Chairman of the NRC Multisectoral Linkaging Committee. 

On August 5, 2021, LDSC had donated 665 boxes of PPE gowns (each containing 60 suits) and 16 boxes of face masks (2,500 face masks per box) to the NRC. This was done as part of its global relief efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Since August, the NRC and its various strategic partners have distributed the donations to the following beneficiaries:
