Latter-day Saint Charities Donates Learning Supplies in Bataan

Recognizing the need for materials and equipment, Latter-day Saint Charities, the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, donated a generous supply of learning supplies to more than 800 students of the Lucanin Elementary School in Mariveles, Bataan.

In a turn-over ceremony held on April 9, 2021, Mr. Francisco B. Bautista, District Superintendent of the Department of Education from the Mariveles District, expressed tremendous gratitude towards the Church. The school head, Mrs. Geraldine C. Dimaculangan, Principal II, recognized the Church volunteers’ participation in the past cleaning activities. Also in attendance, were Barangay Captain Ludivino A. Funilas and President Benjie Pajanustan, Orion Stake (Diocese) President.

The donation consisted of 1,652 reams of A4 sized bond paper, 1,586 reams of legal sized bond paper, 2 sets of EPSON ink, 20 pieces of Globe Pocket WiFi Sticks, and 1 unit of Gestetner Risograph, amounting to Php 834,300.00.
