Easter is one of the most significant seasons of worship for Christians in the Philippines. For years, Filipino Christians have observed Holy Week by honoring Jesus Christ through traditions that include attending church, reading scriptures, and fasting. It is also a time for family gatherings and reflection.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints joins Christians worldwide in celebrating Easter as a season of renewal and a reminder of Christ’s love. Central to this celebration is Christ’s “greater love,” as expressed in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, that a person lay down their life for their friends.”
Latter-day Saints believe that because of Christ’s perfect love for mankind, He suffered, died, and rose again so that all may be delivered from death, cleansed from sin, and find hope and happiness in this life. His love continues to offer guidance and reassurance, especially in times of uncertainty.
As we seek to feel His greater love and experience a greater measure of the joy, gratitude, and peace that come from knowing the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Church invites all Filipinos to watch the rebroadcast of the April 2025 General Conference on GTV and receive messages of hope, peace, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
These messages — delivered by inspired men and women, the general leaders of the Church — will be available to everyone. Please check the schedule below:

General conference is a global event, a gathering of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from all around the world. It takes place twice a year, usually during the first weekend of April and the first weekend of October, when Church leaders share messages or sermons, all centered on Jesus Christ and His gospel.
The Church broadcasts general conference live from the Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Considering the time difference, the Church has partnered with GMA-TV to rebroadcast all sessions of General Conference on a later date and time more suitable for Filipinos.
