“The prayers of different leaders strengthened everyone in the meeting,” said Elder Lee.

“As we are united in our prayers, we feel and understand that God will hear the earnest desires of our hearts. It was a privilege to be part of a special gathering and become part of a community of people who pray together for those who need our help,” he added.

International Justice Mission led the event as a non-partisan, non-governmental organization with a mission “to protect vulnerable people from violence.” Guided by Christian values, IJM is composed of professionals from various fields and faiths, united in their commitment to love and justice. The organization partners with government units, community organizations, and NGOs to support and strengthen justice systems in the Philippines and abroad.

The gathering focused on IJM Philippines’ efforts to combat the online sexual exploitation of children. Discussions focused on strengthening the country’s criminal justice system, including the initiation and expansion of both local and international collaborations, the development of trauma-informed care networks, and the empowerment of survivors and leaders to take action against this heinous crime.
