The public is invited to tour the newly completed Davao Philippines Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a public open house scheduled from March 26 to April 10, 2026, from 7 am to 7 pm. Individuals and families of all faiths are welcome to attend.

The Temple is located at the corner of Ma-a and Anahaw Roads, Barangay Ma-a, Davao City, Philippines.
During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the temple facilities and learn about the purpose of these sacred buildings.

The open house provides a rare opportunity for community members to see the interior of a temple and learn more about the beliefs and practices of Latter-day Saints or members of The Church of Jesus Christ, before the Davao Temple is formally dedicated.

A Sacred Place of Worship
Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints differ from the Church’s meetinghouses or chapels. While Sunday worship services are held in chapels, temples are considered houses of the Lord where members participate in sacred ordinances that strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and their family relationships.
Once dedicated, the temple will be reserved for sacred worship by members of the Church.
The Davao Philippines Temple was announced in October 2018 by Church President Russell M. Nelson. It will become the fifth operating temple in the Philippines and the first in Mindanao, making temple worship more accessible to Latter-day Saints in the country's southern region.
Growing Presence of Temples in the Philippines
The Philippines is home to one of the fastest-growing Latter-day Saint populations in the world. In addition, nine more temples have been announced or are under construction across the nation, reflecting the continued growth of the Church and the increasing availability of temples for members nationwide.
Visiting the Temple Open House
The temple open house invites friends, neighbors, and community members to experience the temple's peaceful atmosphere and learn more about the role temples play in the faith and worship of Latter-day Saints.
Following the open house period, the temple will be formally dedicated and will serve as a sacred place of worship for members of the Church in Davao and the surrounding areas.
