Draw Closer to Jesus Christ Through the Oct. 2024 General Conference on GTV

God loves all His children. Despite our differences, upbringing, or beliefs, He has prepared a way for all of us to find joy, peace, and happiness in this life, along with the opportunity to be with Him and our loved ones someday.

This is made possible through the gospel of Jesus Christ, which teaches that God lives and that He loves, hears, and speaks to His children. His personalized guidance and inspiration can be experienced through the counsel of living prophets and apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

From Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, 2024, all are welcome and invited to hear messages of hope, peace, and eternal life made possible through Jesus Christ during the rebroadcast of the October 2024 General Conference via GTV. Please check the schedule below:

Last month, Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church, shared a message during an interreligious meeting in Singapore, declaring, “God is a God for everyone. And since God is God for everyone, we are all children of God.”

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints share this belief, affirming that our loving Heavenly Father, in His greatest expression of love toward all His children, gave His only begotten Son to the world so that “whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Latter-day Saints also believe that God continues to speak to His people today, just as He did in ancient times through prophets like Adam, Abraham, and Moses. In these latter days, He has called prophets and apostles to provide direction and guidance to His people.

“General Conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction from the Lord. We encourage all to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel and direction given,” stated the First Presidency, the highest governing body of the Church, in a letter to congregation leaders dated September 5, 2024.
