As part of its continuing humanitarian efforts to support education, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated an e-learning cart for digital education to San Rafael Elementary School, and other public schools in the municipality.
The turnover ceremony, held December 19, 2025, was attended by San Jose Del Monte North Stake President Rey Verzola Aganon; President Francis Liper, San Jose Del Monte Stake Second Counselor; Church Humanitarian missionaries, Elder and Sister Webb, Elder and Sister Couper, Elder and Sister Concha; along with school administrators, teachers, and community partners.

The donation will benefit Kaypian National High School, San Isidro Elementary School, Kakawate Elementary School, San Rafael Elementary School, and Towerville National High School. The e-learning carts are designed to help teachers deliver technology-assisted lessons and provide students with greater access to digital learning resources, supporting the Department of Education’s efforts to strengthen digital literacy in public schools.
During the program, Elder and Sister Webb emphasized the vital role of education in strengthening individuals, families, and communities. They shared that supporting schools aligns with the Church’s mission to care for others and to help create opportunities for learning and personal growth.

Representing one of the beneficiary schools, Sir Jun Guialas, Principal II of Towerville National High School, expressed appreciation for the assistance. He shared that the e-learning carts will significantly enhance classroom instruction and help teachers deliver more engaging and interactive lessons.
“The e-learning cart will greatly help our teachers deliver more engaging lessons and allow our learners to experience technology-based instruction,” Guialas said. “We are grateful for the Church’s generosity and continued partnership in uplifting our school community.”

In recognition of its support to public schools, the Department of Education presented The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a Certificate of Appreciation. The program concluded with the signing of the Deed of Donation, highlighting the Church’s continuing partnership in support of Filipino learners and quality education.
