Students and teachers in the Cauayan A1 District received new classroom equipment and learning resources during a recent humanitarian turnover supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, strengthening local efforts to support the rising generation through education.
School leaders welcomed Church representatives, education officials, and community partners and expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to schools across the district.
Missionary couple Elder and Sister Palmer led the turnover of 30 units of 55-inch TVs, 30 wall mounts, 647 armchairs, 97 peer-to-peer literacy toolkits, megaboxes, and other instructional materials designed to improve classroom learning conditions.
District Supervisor Delilan thanked the partners who helped make the project possible and compared the effort to the parable of the Good Samaritan, describing it as an example of compassion in action and service inspired by love for others.
Brother Kim Magbanua shared that the project responded to real classroom needs he observed during visits to schools where televisions were transferred between rooms to support lessons. He emphasized that faith in God inspires people to serve and uplift others.
Drawing from her experience as a teacher, Sister Palmer encouraged students to value education and remember that they are known and loved by God. Elder Palmer added that their service reflected their desire to follow the example of Jesus Christ and strengthen young people as they prepare for the future.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to partners and collaborators, followed by the signing of documents marking the official turnover of the donated resources.
In his closing remarks, Branch President Eliseo Albesa reflected on his own childhood as a former student of the same school and expressed gratitude for teachers who continue to serve the rising generation with dedication. He also explained that humanitarian assistance from the Church is made possible through voluntary offerings from members around the world to bless communities in need.
The activity highlighted how cooperation among educators, community leaders, and faith-based partners can help create stronger learning environments for students and open opportunities for the rising generation.
